Rejoice! St. Stanislaus Kostka turns 125 honoring its roots as Idaho’s oldest Catholic brick church
More than 150 parishioners and visitors gathered in Rathdrum on Oct. 10 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of St. Stanislaus Kostka, Idaho’s oldest brick Catholic church. Bishop Peter F. Christensen celebrated a special Mass honoring the historic church, the legacy of Father Thomas Purcell and generations of faithful Catholics who have sustained this close-knit North Idaho community.
